Welcome

Back when computers had pencils, an Afro-American woman brilliantly calculated NASA's missions trajectories by hand. The NASA mathematician, Katherine Johnson, helped humanity to travel into space. However, she remained in the shadows for a long time. She is not the only one to have remained unfairly in the shadows, this effect is called Matilda effect. Forgotten star pay tribute to Katherine Johnson and put in the light those women that have been erased from history.
